| Miller Place is a delightful, small New England style hamlet. It was one of the first designated historical districts in the United States. As you drive through, on its winding, historic roads, you will pass an old schoolhouse that is now the community library, as well as gift shops, a pond, a bed & breakfast, and even a Christmas tree farm. A mom-and-pop atmosphere permeates through the town, and residents take an active role in supporting their local business, to preserve the quaint atmosphere and simple way of life.
Bordered by the waters of the Long Island Sound, it is no wonder that Miller Place plays host to boating, swimming, and other water related activities. Miller Place has its own town park, and boarders Cedar Beach. |
