Sound Beach

Community Overview
A relatively young community dating back to 1929, Sound Beach began as a summer resort town with only 60 year round residents. Today, Sound Beach is home to over 7,000 residents. The Village Square offers all the touches of country living with great shops, a post office, and restaurant.

You can shop, dine, and visit historical places in the business district, or you may choose to explore the park's playground and walking trail. The bluffs of Sound Beach offer some of the best scenic views of the Long Island Sound. Rod and reel fishing is popular along the shore as well.
